A Little Bit of Street Action

A few weekends ago, a good friend of mine and I went out to do some night photography. First, we headed over to Koh Pich and got some awesome shots of the river. It was amazing to me how developed Diamond Island was. It's been awhile since I've been there, so I was astonished to see so many new businesses. It was quite impressive, and a ton of money is being pumped into that area. 

After spending some time there, we went down to the river area and shot what was interesting. We ended up going to Independence Monument to wrap things up. It was a blast! I need to get out more and do some street photography. It's exhiliarating to see what can be found and captured.

Trees Three

On the way home sometimes, I look for good shots of the countryside. I sure love big open pastures, rice fields mixed with clouds and sunshine. It makes for beautiful shots! 

Yesterday, it was mid-afternoon, and I noticed a tree off the road a bit all by itself. The sun was suttly poking it's face through the clouds making for a good opportunity. I got off my bike for a few minutes and captured these. I tried different exposures to capture more of the highlights and decided that was the main look I was going for. It was fun to experiment with these.
